After a small falling-out with DHL I’ve finally taken delivery of my bargainous Booker Shortlist parcel from The Book People. The joy of having snagged all six hardbacks for £35 is enough to soothe the after effects of trying to find out whether the box was in the depot or on the van or arriving today/tomorrow/three weeks on Tuesday.
It’s such a bargain, in fact, that it was still cheaper for me to get all six books when I already owned two of them than to go out and buy the other four separately. And this leaves me with two surplus tomes. You lucky, lucky people, I’ve decided to give them away to one of you.
The two books I’m giving away are The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters (my thoughts on the book here) and Summertime by J.M. Coetzee (which I haven’t read yet). So, names in the comments please, stating which book you want to be entered for (or both) and I’ll chose a winner on Monday. I’ll post to any country.

That’s great! Both books are on my wish list, so I would like to be entered for both novels.
