I’ve had a couple of days away from the blogosphere, so I’m way behind in blog reading (hello Google Reader and your 300+ unread posts) and commenting. So, while I’m catching up, here are a few things I have managed to read over the last few days:

A new report suggests that there should be more focus on the care of rape victims.

The F Word on women in TV/film.

Via The Huffington Post, the ‘Little Billy’ letters and the famous people they fooled. I *really want to read it*.

Bookslut asks: is Monster Lit worth unearthing?

Anthony Gormley has a new installation in New York City. The Gothamist asks whether people will panic seeing human figures on the tops of buildings. Well, to my knowledge, no one’s called 999 about the fellow on top of Blackwell’s Art Shop in Oxford. (h/t OUPblog)

Nymeth from things mean a lot writes about the appeal of the Victorians.

Amazon.co.uk has launched author pages.

That is all. I’m in dire need of coffee.
